What you will be doing:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy to meet sales goals and expand our customer base in the commercial concrete construction market
  • Provide leadership and development to the sales team, enhancing their skills across all sales processes
  • Perform thorough market research to understand industry trends, identify potential clients, and assess competitors' strategies to improve our market stance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients, understanding their needs and delivering innovative solutions
  • Work alongside different departments to create custom solutions, presentations, and proposals that meet client needs
  • Manage negotiation processes and contract drafting, ensuring beneficial agreements
  • Regularly assess and refine sales strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Act as a company ambassador at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and open new business channels
  • Generate and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management
  • Guide the sales team towards excellence and achievement through continuous mentorship
Experience you will need:
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in progressive outside sales roles, with a preference for those within the construction industry
  • Excellent communication skills across various mediums (phone, email), coupled with strong data management abilities
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, computer literacy, and experience with CRM software (e.g., Cosential, Hubspot, Salesforce)
  • Independent and team-oriented leadership capabilities with a high level of self-motivation
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management or related field, with a strong business acumen
  • A valid driver’s license and a commendable driving record
