We are seeking a dedicated, focused, detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong organizational skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, finance, logistics and recycling. You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate records within MAS 100/Sage software, Greenspark and Excel. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrates high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS:

· Enter Sales orders from customer’s purchase orders into Greenspark and MAS 100/Sage

· Enter outbound sales ticket info for shipments into Greenspark

· Accounts payable-review, code, enter invoices, write checks and prepare ach payments

· Accounts receivable-review, enter and send invoices, process cash receipts via checks, ach and credit cards

· Monitor daily cash balances

· Bank reconciliations

· Journal Entries as needed

· Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements

· Licensing of trucks and trailers

· IFTA tax filings

· Licensing of business, air and recycle

· Annual credit card updates

· Maintain records for work comp, vehicle and property insurance to comply with annual audit

· Backup for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state and local regulations

· Maintain records of Union dues collected, prepare quarterly reports and send in payments when due

· Economic census

· Phone coverage

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· Preferred but not required, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field.

· 3-5 years experience as a proven full charge bookkeeper

· Proficient with MAS 100/Sage, Excel and Outlook

This position is based in Overland MO, Monday thru Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay range is between $55,000-$70,000 annually. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience and skills.
