Job Summary:

The primary duty of this individual will be CAD Design of car wash equipment and car wash tunnel layouts; to include mechanical, electrical and plumbing details within the building or site provided by our customers; assisting with organization, maintenance of our CAD system infrastructure and other tasks needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Consult with managers to discuss and interpret design concepts, and determine requirements of drawings for equipment.

· Create and update shop manuals.

· Design product using Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD software.

· Design building and site layouts.

· Designs, modifies and upgrades equipment and creates Bill of Material for implementation into ERP/JobBoss system.

· CNC machine and tube laser programming.

· Verify specifications for design data, such as configuration of parts, dimensions, and tolerances.

· Locate files relating to specified design project in database library, load program into computer, and record completed job data.

· Review work orders and procedural manuals and confer with staff and customers to resolve problems and modify design.

· Continuously improves existing machinery and processes to increase throughput, reduce scrap and improve quality.

· Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualification / Requirements:

· Sound knowledge and use of Inventor and AutoCAD.

· Experience with parametric modeling, assemblies, sheet metal fabrication.

· Familiar with other AutoDesk Products.

· Microsoft Office.

· Clear communication.

· Machine shop experience is preferred.

· Positive, "can do" attitude.
