Process Supervisor

Arxada is looking for Process Supervisor in VALPARAISO, IN to provide daily coordination of work activities and maintain proper records as needed for regulatory and ISO compliance while setting daily production rates to accommodate personnel and process issues.
Essential Job Functions:

• Monitors EHS performance including environmental compliance.
• Provide daily coordination of work activities for specific area of responsibility and maintain proper records as needed for regulatory, cGMP and ISO compliance.
• Sets daily process production rates to accommodate personnel and process issues. Monitors and directs activities to maintain equipment utilization and on-stream rates to meet production demands.
• Monitors process quality and direct operators on adjustments. Enforces plant and area housekeeping standards.
• Monitors PI sheets for correctness. Monitors area container management (reprocess and rework).
• Follows up on incident corrective actions. Reviews monthly safety audits.
• Develops plan to prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Reviews work order backlog and work with maintenance to prioritize their work list.
• Equipment inspections/facilities maintenance
• Ensures all orders and data are properly entered in SAP (raw material receipts, goods issues, quality data, shipments, work orders, etc)
• Participate in capital project reviews and hazard reviews as manufacturing representative.
• Assists with operator training Plant procedures.
• Ensure plant operating procedures are available, current and in the Document Management System.
• Must be familiar with proper management, storage, and handling of waste generated.
• Assists with the follow-up of Action Items for Process Hazard Review analysis and incidents reports.
• Supports and/or implements waste minimization efforts.
• Fills is where needed to cover production or office personnel responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Associates or Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• 5-10 years experience in production (chemical plant experience preferred)
• SAP, PSM, Safety experience desirable
• Supervisory and leadership experience
