The Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering calls and following through on collecting payments, reducing past due, and other quantitative targets, by performing portfolio management activities for customer base of key accounts, including:

• Performs day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment to ensure effective account management on collection accounts.
• Contacting customers with past due balances via phone and email in the portfolio to obtain payment, payment commitment, and follow up on payment promises.
• Reporting any disputed/short paid invoices with reasons for disputes and collaborating with the internal department to expedite resolution/payment.
• Perform customer account reconciliation.
• Interfaces with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve billing, collection, and credit issues.
• Establishes strong working relationships with the sales teams.
• Preparing proposals for third party agency placement and /or write off to bad debt.
• Support and develop accounts receivable process improvements.
• Performs other duties/ projects as assigned or as required by the position.
• Achieve individual goals and established Key Performance Indicators.

Responsibilities:

• Speak with customers on the phone.
• Remove money from accounts.
• Gather delinquent accounts.
• Take information from customers and enter it into computer.
• Be professional and respectful toward customers with challenging or volatile situations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional candidate with a strong collections background with a customer service/retention mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is essential, specifically, Work, Outlook, Excel.
• Function well independently and in a team-oriented environment is a must
• Excellent multitasking skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $39,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 32 per week
