Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as Infrastructure Development Coordinator. This position is located within our Community Planning Division, and works closely with our elected officials and their staff to coordinate infrastructure improvement projects within the Bluegrass Area Development District.

General Duties and Responsibilities include:

1. Meets with local officials and discerns their needs for infrastructure improvements

2. Determines project scope and budget

3. Assists with procurement of engineers/architects

4. Assures project is eligible for funding sought

5. Maintains contact with State and Federal agencies as to funding requirements

6. Administers projects as assigned

7. Attends grant workshops

8. Provides monthly updates to the BGADD Rate Book

9. Publishes new BGADD Rate Book Annually (October)

10. Membership development and facilitation for the BGADD Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Advisory Committee.

The successful candidate will have a considerable knowledge of the public finance sector and an understanding of local infrastructure capabilities and needs. The candidate should also have previous grants and project management experience, and be familiar with basic state and federal grant guidelines.

Applicants should have at least a Bachelors degree in Public Administration or a closely related field, and five years of progressively responsible experience in grants or infrastructure development. Masters Degree in Public Administration or a closely related field can be substituted for two years of experience.

Pay: $52,654.00 - $78,982.00 per year
