The Accounting Technician administers, processes, and maintains the accounts receivable at Minnesota State College Southeast. This position provides financial information, explains and interprets policies and procedures, and advises on matters pertaining to the areas of Accounts Receivable and Financial Aid reconciliation. They will support a student's efforts to successfully transition to college and reach academic goals by providing guidance and financial literacy information to align with the retention and engagement efforts of other departments. This position serves as the frontline communicator for student accounts and strives to provide excellent customer service to external and internal clients. This position reconciles financial aid disbursements and is responsible for recognizing errors through analysis and preparation of accounting records and reports.
