ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist with month-end financial reports.
• Post journal entries.
• Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation.
• Assist with audits.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with processing weekly deposits.
• Record monthly acquisition of inventory.
• Assist with data entry and filing. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Must be in the process of completing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• Must have completed introductory accounting courses and possess a basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Must have an aptitude for math.
• Proficient with computers and different software programs.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills with ability to work without distraction.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Must have a high sense of rigor to prevent any form of mistake that may occur in documenting financial information.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be a team player and motivated with a strong desire to take on new challenges.
