We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality and EHS Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and environmental, health, and safety initiatives within our manufacturing operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in quality systems, EHS regulations, and continuous improvement processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and EHS policies to ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.

• Lead internal audits of quality and EHS systems and manage external audits and inspections from certification bodies and regulatory agencies.

• Oversee the investigation of accidents, incidents, and non-conformities, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive measures.

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance quality and safety performance.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and safety considerations are integrated into product design, development, and manufacturing processes.

• Manage and develop the Quality and EHS team, providing training and support to ensure all employees are aware of and comply with quality and safety standards.

• Monitor and report on quality and EHS performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management and making recommendations for improvements.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in quality and EHS management, and assess their potential impact on the company.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality and EHS role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, and other relevant quality and EHS standards.

• Demonstrated experience in leading audits, risk assessments, and implementing EHS management systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse workforce.

• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or similar certifications are highly desirable.
