Tread Corporation is a manufacturer of bulk handling equipment focused on servicing the explosives industry on a worldwide basis with Tread equipment operating in all reaches of the globe. Corporate offices and manufacturing facilities are located in Roanoke, Virginia, United States with service capabilities managed from Chile, Australia, and South Africa. Products include bulk trucks, emulsion and mix plants, explosive storage, control systems, as well as aftermarket parts.

We would like to add additional members to our Tread team by selecting experienced Technicians. The candidates selected for this position will be responsible for rebuild projects at Tread.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Disassemble/Reassemble equipment on Tread Manufactured units
• Inspect and repair equipment
• Obtain sub-assemblies and verify the correct assemblies are on hand for the installation
• Ability to work with pneumatic, electrical and standard hand tools
• Drilling, Steel cutting, Grinding, Welding
• Hydraulic hose crimping and installation
• Basic understanding of general arrangement of drawing layout instructions
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams
• Able to travel to customer sites in the USA as required, performing field rebuilds and equipment upgrades.
• Must have a hand’s on approach and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
