Flow - ECO Coordinator Tech

OVERALL SUMMARY
Performs a variety of duties that include orchestrating the physical flow of the ECO process. Organize and deliver information, ensure accurate and timely information and material flow to warehouse and production areas, schedule warehouse and production work-centers through Elliott’s Tier 4 report. Data entry, support Kanban replenishment systems, operate hand and power equipment for material handling to accommodate storage and flow of products throughout production facility. Work with teams to develop and implement effective material and information flow strategies that maximize productivity and minimize waste.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Monitor released ECO’s and strategize the material and information flow that needs to happen with each.
• Work with Production Control and other department personnel to help develop the ECO Flow Process.
• Print shop packets and deliver them to warehouse and assigned work-centers.
• Monitor and restock the staging baskets that material rovers use to know what to deliver next to each work center.
• Use EMAX programs to help ensure on time material delivery and correct system information.
• Analyze Tier 4 report and work-center dispatches to ensure adequate supply of materials.
• Develop and implement material and information flow strategies that optimize production and minimize waste.
• Collaborate with production control and purchasing to identify areas for improvement in material and information flow.
• Monitor production processes to identify potential bottlenecks or inefficiencies in material and information flow.
• Safety and Housekeeping

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Former inventory control experiences a plus
