Alabama Department of Public Health is Hiring a Public Health Educator Near Montgomery, AL

The Public Health Educator is a permanent, full-time position with the Alabama Department of Public Health. Positions are located throughout the state. Public Health Educators coordinate all public health education programs in a district or work in the central office and participate in the development and coordination of statewide public health education programs in a specific program area such as tobacco, cancer, injury, arthritis, bioterrorism, hazardous waste prevention, worksite wellness, or health promotion.

REQUIREMENT(S)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* college or university in Health Education, Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Health, Physical Education, Kinesiology, or health education-related field, including five health education/promotion college courses.
