Bridges Healthcare is Hiring a Human resource assistant Near Milford, CT

Human Resources Assistant

$26.00 - $30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

PURPOSE and POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department in all generalist areas.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in all aspects of recruiting, onboarding and termination processes.
  • Assist in maintaining HR documentation (electronic and hard copy).
  • Create and distribute staff monthly newsletter.
  • Assist with benefits administration.
  • Assist with managing required online and live training.
  • Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor' Degree required with HR Certification preferred

Minimum of 3 years proven HR experience

Bilingual English / Spanish preferred (speak, read, and write)

Demonstrated experience in human resources practices and processes

Ability to handle various situations with confidentiality, sensitivity, and accuracy

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)

Familiarity with online recruiting

HRIS knowledge required, ADP experience preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and organize schedules / demands

Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation on a daily, consistent basis
