CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Reporting to the Senior V.P. of Construction & Legal, the Contracts Specialist holds a critical position in our organization, overseeing the review, negotiation, and management of subcontract agreements, purchase orders, and non-disclosure agreements. With a deep understanding of contract principles and procedures, as well as exceptional organizational and communication skills, the Contracts Specialist
plays a vital role in facilitating smooth and efficient contract processes, contributing to the success of our projects and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
· Proficient in monitoring, managing, and scheduling the review of incoming subcontracts.
· Skilled in reviewing, marking up, and negotiating the terms and conditions of subcontracts with general contractors.
· Effective communicator, skilled in collaborating with sales personnel to clarify the scope of work for subcontract reviews.
· Capable of efficiently managing subcontracts from receipt through execution.
· Experienced in reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements.
· Proficient in managing purchase orders with designated vendors.
· Diligent in ensuring organizational compliance with subcontract terms and conditions.
· Experienced in updating information and documentation in our database.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven expertise in contract principles and procedures.
· Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
· Exceptional administrative skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
· Capacity to effectively manage multiple priority tasks.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, or comparable software platforms.
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
· A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field is mandatory.
· Previous experience in contract drafting or negotiating is essential.
· Experience in the construction field is highly preferred.
