Job Description
- Oversees the creation and distribution of weekly production schedules for 24 departments.
- Oversees requisitioning of materials to meet inventory and production objectives.
- Reviews and modifies monthly herbs forecast.
- Oversees day-to-day manufacturing database maintenance including OPC codes, EOQs, routings, MPS demand, forecast and consumption time fences, BOMs, and ECOs.
- Oversees the maintenance of the NPO and "Art Received" databases, and the execution
- Coordinates the activities of the PID team in alignment with corporate & plant goals.
- Develops of oversees the maintenance & publication of departmental KPIs and holds the team accountable to targets.
- Bi-weekly evening calls with sister plant in China.
- Assists in preparing department budgets.
- On site attendance every workday, with daily visits to the manufacturing floor.
- Directly manages seven employees in the Production Information Department
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar
- 5 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing setting
- Extensive knowledge of ERP software
- Strong data manipulation skills in Excel
- Supply Chain certification is preferred (CPIM, or CSCP)
