First Northern Bank is Hiring a Commercial Loan Officer VP (Business Development) Near Dixon, CA

We’re seeking a driven and customer-focused Loan Officer to join our Agribusiness Loan Team! In this role, you’ll examine, evaluate, and authorize or recommend approval of customer applications for commercial loans, primarily agribusiness related.   • Interview applicant and requests specified information for loan application
  • Request applicant credit reports, background checks, reference checks, and other information pertinent to loan applicants’ evaluation
  • Analyze applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan or submit application to credit analyst for verification and recommendation
  • Correspond with or interview applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information
  • Compile loan package and facilitate negotiation of loan structure with applicant, including fees, loan repayment options, and other credit terms
  • Approve loan within specified limits or refer loan to loan committee for approval
  • Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policy
  • Assure timely loan closing and funding activities
  • Identify and analyze potential loan markets to develop prospects for commercial loans
  • Advise loan manager of external factors that may affect organization’s lending policies, such as new or revised legislation and regulations; recommend and implement appropriate changes to Bank policies and procedures
  • Promote and cross-sell other Bank products and services as appropriate to customer requirements
  • Provide loan data to support marketing and sales promotion programs
  • Active involvement in community organizations and activities, including those related to agriculture

Qualifications
  • Four-year college or university program certificate; or
  • Seven to ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Foundation in finance and intermediate accounting a plus

Pay Range (Salary): $120,000 - $145,000/yearThe purpose of this job description is to provide a summary of duties related to the position. It is not intended to be all-inclusive.
