Overview:

The Birthday Party Coordinator and his/her staff are responsible for providing Museum visitors with an exceptional customer service experience. He/She oversees all the logistics and staff implementation, training, leadership, and supervision of birthday parties.

Duties:

- Train and supervise birthday party hosts.
- Responsible for coordinating birthday party programming, including evaluating themes and décor and designing party packages.
- Oversee regular supply inventory and inform the Associate Director of Public Programs and Outreach or the Administrative and Sales Coordinator if supplies need to be ordered.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the birthday party prep room.
- Serve as a Floor Manager when needed.
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Sales to ensure clear bookings and sales language.

Requirements:

- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong hospitality background is a plus
- Demonstrated ability in events management
- English and Spanish fluency preferred
- Weekend availability required
