Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Branch Manager at our Stockertown, PA location. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and team leadership. They will work closely with the regional management team to achieve sales targets, drive customer satisfaction, and maintain a high standard of operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops a comprehensive business plan for the location; consistent with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Plan includes consideration for sales, market growth, staffing requirements, asset utilization, expenses, and profitability.
  • Constantly analyzes local market to determine target customers, their product needs, service requirements, and potential sales volume.
  • Meets with customers on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction and determine future product and service requirements.
  • Develops and executes sales and marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of sales, products, and services.
  • Determines and adjusts inventory and equipment needs based on short and long-term plans for market and sales growth
  • Analyzes location processes, and determines methods to increase productivity, enhance customer service levels, and reduce expenses. 
  • Hires, develops, sets and reviews performance expectations for the location sales team.
  • Motivates location sales team to acquire target accounts, increase sales volume and product mix with existing accounts, maintain or enhance service levels, and obtain gross profit goals
  • Analyzes location financial data to reduce expenses, control accounts receivable and payable, increase inventory turns grow sales, and maximize profit.
  • Develops pricing strategies and programs for current and potential customers based on local and wood market conditions.
  • Actively develops subordinate supervisor(s) for future career opportunities within the company
  • Regularly communicates location and company performance, and other relevant information to location associates.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Lezzer policies and applicable laws. 
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

  • Minimum of five years’ experience as a manager or higher, with budget accountability and people management responsibility in the sales and supply of building materials to the professional and non-professional builder
  • Undergraduate Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Excellent analytical, communications, personal leadership and business management skills
  • Knowledge of residential, multi-family and light commercial building techniques and industry standards
  • Comfortable working in a challenging, fast paced sales environment
