Job Title: Water and Wastewater Plant Operator - Hiring for Entry level and Certified Operators

Pay: $19.11 - $26.78 / hourly

Positions require working a rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Water and Wastewater Plant Operator Trainee:

The entry level candidate will be trained to assist with the operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater treatment plants. This position will involve working with a variety of water and wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and systems and developing a strong understanding of the principle of water and wastewater treatment.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

-Valid driver's license.

Certified Water/Wastewater Plant Operator:

This position performs a variety of duties related to the operation, maintenance, and repair of the water and wastewater treatment systems, with limited supervisory assistance. This position requires the applicant to currently hold a Water/Wastewater Certification.

Qualifications:

-Current MDE Certification - Required

-WW 5A or Water Treatment 3 - Required

-At least 3 years of experience as an Operator in Water/Wastewater Treatment

-Valid driver's license

-High school diploma or equivalent
