Job description

Hours: 10-39 hours per week (Part-time). Sunday through Saturday – All hours, including: day, evening, and night, as needed to cover shifts.

  • Required Qualifications:
    • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be an insurable driver
    • Driving record must not reflect more than two moving violations (and none for over 10 miles per hour above the speed limit) within the last three years nor any DUI’s within the last five (5) years
    • Must have a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)
    • Must be a mature, responsible role model who enjoys working with youth and families
    • Must not appear on the child abuse registry
    • Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds and be able to stand for extended periods of time
    • Must pass all required drug and alcohol screenings
    • Must have the ability to work a variety of shifts, as needed
    • Preferred qualifications
      • Prior experience working with youth and families
      • Strong work ethics
      • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
      • I. Skill Requirements:
      • 1. Must be able to maintain strict codes of confidentiality
      • 2. Adherence to all agency policies and procedures
      • 3. Crisis intervention, conflict resolution, problem solving.
      • 4. Good judgment and decision-making skills.
      • 5. Team work, team approach.
      • 6. Strong verbal, written communication skills.

Salary: $14.50 – $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift

MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL

  • Essential Functions

    • Ensure proper care of lawn and trees.
    • Operate a riding lawnmower
    • Operate a weed trimmer
    • Utilize various hand tools and power tools
    • Removal of weeds and spraying to prevent weeds
    • Snow removal in the winter time with plow, snowblower or snow shovel
    • Light maintenance in buildings including but not limited to drywall repair and painting.
    • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
    • Obtain quotes for work needed on grounds by outside vendors.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Good time management and organization skills
    • Good problem solving skills
    • Able to work with minimal direct supervision.
    • Ability to change as the job changes.

    Required Experience, Education, Certification

    • High school diploma or GED
    • Valid drivers license
    • Previous maintenance or groundskeeping experience.

GRANTS WRITER

Qualifications: Combination of Education (marketing) and experience related to fund-raising, grant writing, and endowments. Strong community presence.
General Description: Professional individual with experience developing and implementing a comprehensive funding program. The successful candidate will have experience in Grant Writing, Fund-Raising, and obtaining individual and corporate donations. Position requires self-motivation, ability to work independently, establish and have respect in the community.
  • Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Grant Writing: Federal, State, and Foundation proposal writing and assuring grant administration/accountability.
  • Fund-Raising: Establishing and maintaining individual business and corporate solicitation for program operations, special projects, and capital improvements.
  • Endowments: Creation and development of an endowment and gift program.
  • Communication/Marketing: Representing the agency and programs, development and updating brochures, public speaking, and media contacts.
  • Computer Literacy: Knowledge and expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and print/publishing programs.
  • Philosophy/Mission: Must learn and support the agency’s philosophy, mission, and programs.
  • Accounting: Knowledge of general financial accounting.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: The ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned
REFERENCES ARE REQUIRED: We require 3 references – 2 of which must be previous supervisors

THERAPIST

The Therapist (licensed & provisional) work under the supervision of the Clinical Director to provide individual, group therapy, and career/job skill assessment to YES House School students. Will perform evaluations, intakes, MDTs, treatment plans, and other duties as needed. Participates in normal on call rotation. Will follow Wyoming Professional License, rules and regulation for professional standards. Must be proficient/efficient with computers and various software programs, including electronic documentation.

A master’s degree in a mental health discipline or related field is required. Licensed or provisional licensure as a mental health professional is required. Must be able to complete DCI background check, abuse & neglect registry check as well as other post-offer/pre-employment checks. MSW and provisional/Full licensure is preferred, must be proficient/efficient with computers and various software programs, including electronic documentation.
