JOB DESCRIPTION: MILLWORK ADMIN

SUMMARY: The Millwork Admin is responsible for supporting and managing administrative duties inside the Millwork Department in a sales driven environment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  include the following: (other duties may be assigned)

• Utilize Company Software to perform daily activities
• Receive sales quotes from outside sales rep and enter in Company Software 
• Turn quotes into order by creating PO and creating job in Company Software
• Receive and verify vendor acknowledgements
• Coordinate ETA of product with Delivery Department
• Receives incoming calls from potential and existing customers
• Coordinate with Delivery Department and Customer when Applicable
• Scan documents to Company Software on daily basis
• Assist with Millwork Department Invoicing

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of Home Building Industry - particularly lumber building materials. Minimum of a High School diploma or GED. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing is preferred, but candidates with 2-3 years of sales experience will also be considered.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bilingual in Spanish and English is not a requirement, but is preferred. 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to withstand long periods of sitting and phone handling for approximately 3-8 hours on a daily basis. Individual must be able to lift a minimum of 25 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The individual must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, outdoors, and with a relatively high noise level.
