Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental record systems such as Open Dental
- Coordinate with staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely appointment scheduling
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and maintain financial records
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Skills:
- Proven experience Dental Receptionist is highly preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Open Dental
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and handling financial transactions
