Quality Technician
Cross Check Quality is looking for an independent, optimistic, problem solver in the Louisville area! This Quality Technician position has great potential to become a beneficial step in your career. - Purpose and Responsibilities:
The customer you will be servicing creates product labels and the Quality Technician will be responsible for certifying the product by ensuring it meets all customer requirements and specifications. They will be responsible for the following:
- Quality Checks and Audits
The Quality Technician will ensure this by visual inspection and performing various tests as assigned by the quality lab or quality manager.
- Verifying Quantity
They will also be responsible for ensuring correct quantities of product by splicing roles, ensuring the appropriate roll tension, and preparing rolls for shipping.
- Data keeping:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for accurately record all quality checks performed on that day along with all the tracking information from the product. The Quality Technician will record these checks, along with all defects found, then summarize findings in excel at the end of each shift. Other data entry skills may be required as well.
Other requirements:
- Ability to show up on time and work Monday through Friday
- Work approximately 20 hours of OT per month
- Pass a drug test and submit to a background check
- Someone who has excellent communication skills and can communicate needs, problems, and accomplishments with the customer and with Cross Check.
- Work diligently with light supervision.
- Has at least a year of experience in quality
