WE are seeking a dynamic educator to join our team who is passionate about helping young people build their confidence and skills for a thriving future. We are not seeking a specific content or endorsement area, but instead someone passionate about developing meaningful learning experiences around SEL, life skills, and career readiness.
YOU are seeking an opportunity to mentor and guide young adults through teaching outside of the traditional subject areas. Oh, and you should probably love Dragons (our mascot).

Essential Job Functions

• Co-plan and implement a series of personal development courses built around helping students discover their purpose in the world.
• Design a course on career skills such as resumes, applications, and interviewing skills.
• Offer other course electives based on your passions and student interests and needs.

Required LicensureApplicants must have a valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License in any content area.

We are located in Brighton, CO. We are a small but mighty alternative school with around 200 students and 25 staff members. We operate on a 4-day work week (Tue-Fri). Most all agree–Mondays off are quite fabulous!
