Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Daycare Assistant Director to join our faith based team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children and providing a safe, nurturing environment for their growth and development.

Duties:
- Help Director implement and oversee programs

-Oversee staff members and those in training. Help Director with hiring training in the supervising process.

-Enforce personnel policies

-Work with families to maintain healthy communication and relationships.

-When Director is not at the facility, confidently manage staff and families alone.

-Help oversee staff in planning activities and curriculum in accordance with developmentally appropriate practices and our faith based philosophy.

-Help create a fun and safe learning environment for children.

-Organize and plan with the Director

-Attend all required trainings and help keep track of staff trainings.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess some of the following skills or experiences:
- Previous experience in childcare, nannying, or classroom settings
- Sufficient computer skills, verbal and organizational skills
- Knowledge of childhood development and educational activities
- Familiarity with infant care practices
- Training in first aid and CPR
- Ability to multitask, be self-motivated, reliable and possess leadership qualities.

***CDA preferred or ability to work towards CDA immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
