Position:  Corporate Bat Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To:  Director of Retail
Location: Louisville

Position Summary:

Manage all aspects of corporate sales for Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. Work closely with the General Manager of Sales and the Director of Retail to ensure goals and projections are met. Deliver timely and accurate customer care for all Corporate PER orders, including email, phone, and walk-in customers. Manage LSMF Event customized orders. Interact with customers daily to gain product insights and monitor customer care standards. 

 Essential Functions:

• Responsible for all incoming Corporate personalized orders. 

· Ensures the highest quality of all corporate orders and oversees their timely delivery and invoicing.

• Creates detailed proofs for the customers.
• Works with the Event team to manage Event orders and seek new opportunities within the Events department.

· Active listener to meet the needs of the customer. 

· Creative problem solver to navigate wood bat production lead times on a daily basis.

· Solicit for outside sales of personalized and souvenir bat sales to local customers. 

· In-person meetings with prospective clients may be necessary.

• Check PER ordering sources (email, phone, and walk-in) daily and hourly and promptly and accurately fulfill orders.
• Secures merchandise and company assets by implementing security measures utilizing systems and operational standards.
• Maintains the stability and reputation of the brand by complying with legal requirements, company policies, and marketing direction.
• Must have flexible work hours, nights, weekdays, and weekends as needed.
• Participate in the MOD weekend rotation to open and close the Retail Store.

· Performs additional job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree; equivalent work experience; preferred combination of both.
• Minimum of two years of related retail experience in a supervisory role.
• Successfully managed other team members directly or indirectly.
• Goal-oriented and results-proven.
• Exceptional and measurable customer focus and intuitiveness when problem-solving concerning customer satisfaction.
• Strong merchandising and visual presentation.
• Practical application and daily use of Retail POS system and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access).
