Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Exemplify Stampin’ Up!’s core values: We Care About People First, We Act with Courage, We Better Our Best, and We Own It! 
  2. Lead and manage a team of designers; establish expectations and hold them accountable to meeting those expectations (LMA).
  3. Ensure brand standards are developed, interpreted, and applied in partnership with the Creative Director and other creative leadership. 
  4. Develop team of designers in creating digital and print deliverables including providing guidance/support in planning and execution of photo/video shoots. Maintain effective balance between velocity and quality in team’s workflow. Keep team current with design trends, technologies/programs, print/web capabilities, social media, UI/UX, etc. Provide mentoring and learning opportunities.
  5. Ensure project deliverables meet user needs, support objectives, tell the needed story, follow brand standards, are well designed and executed, and are delivered on time. Ensure files are organized and properly archived on the server. Coordinate and facilitate reviews and approvals with stakeholders.
  6. Partner with internal stakeholders in the development and maintenance of cross-departmental processes, strategies, project initiatives, etc. Represent team capabilities and capacity, and assist in defining project scope and timelines. Attend and lead meetings as needed, contributing perspectives, ideas, constructive feedback, etc. 
  7. Establish and manage relationships with external vendors as needed. 

Requirements

  1. BA/BFA in graphic design, web design, illustration, or related discipline. Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in print/web design and creative leadership, exhibiting solid understanding of aesthetics, design, and UI/UX principles.
  2. 5 years professional print/web design experience in an agency or corporate setting, with proven leadership skills. 
  3. Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign/InCopy, Photoshop), and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office).
  4. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and organization skills. Ability to prioritize and manage a diverse workload while working within tight timeframes.
  5. Ability to travel out of state/country as needed to support responsibilities
