Job Summary: This is a short term contract!!!!!
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statement preparation, financial auditing, and regulatory reporting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Conduct financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide support during tax season and assist with tax preparation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Previous experience in public accounting or financial services is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of wills, trusts, and estate law is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
