Responsibilities include:

• School Ambassador – Together with the director and teachers, create a warm and welcoming school environment for enrolled families and visitors. The afternoon administrator works primarily with families enrolled in our Stay and Play program and checks children out each day.
• Parent Communication – Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with enrolled families and keeping them informed about their child’s day.
• Customer Service – Answering phones and emails promptly and courteously, assisting parents with questions, and communicating consistently with the office manager and director about any parent needs or requests.
• Administrative Duties – Assisting the office manager and director with projects, special events, and other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications required:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for child development, customer service, and cultural understanding
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Positive and collaborative team player
• Strong verbal communication skills in English

Extra Credit for:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Some college
• One-two years of administrative/customer service experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)

• Monday – Friday
• 1:45 pm - 6:00 pm (additional hours possible)
