We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Elkhart, IN. The Senior Electrical Engineer works as a cooperative member of the Engineering team to assist the department in producing a smooth, efficient flow of quality work through the Company. This is a top level electrical engineering position. Will receive direction and work assignments from other members of the Engineering department, in coordination with the immediate supervisor. Extensive electrical knowledge is expected with formal training or verifiable experience required.

Minimum Qualifications And Education

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering or demonstrable equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in digital electronic design, primarily to automotive standards
• Considerable experience in design for EMI/EMC to automotive standards
• Considerable experience in databus messaging structure and its application
• Considerable experience in small signal analog electronic design
• Considerable experience in the electronic production process and methodology
• Experience in software design principles and acceptable practices

Working ConditionsMovement

• This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office and on the production floor. Frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.

Visual

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Operate/Use

• Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e. copier, printer, calculator)
