Gallagher Construction Services: Owner's Agent CM Firm is based in Richardson, is seeking a candidate who is a self-starter and deadline driven to join our highly respected construction team. Gallagher Construction provides construction management services for publicly funded projects across Texas. Gallagher is well-respected in the community, offers a solid compensation package with vehicle allowance & gas card & paid tolls.

Position Summary: The Construction Superintendent is the Company’s representative assigned the authority and responsibility for daily coordination of the project including, but not limited to:site safety, budget requirements; scheduling, SWPPP compliant, reporting records, and compliant with the Company’s quality standards and to the Customer’s satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

Project set up including plan for site access, staging areas and security (including fencing and signage).
Jobsite office set up and organization including posting of all permits and regulations, emergency contacts
Organize, maintain and update construction documents/field drawings including posting of ASI’s, RFI’s, changes, etc. This information should be presented at the end of the project as a Record Set of Field Documents
In conjunction with PM, develop a project schedule and follow review monthly to ensure the project is adhering to the Construction Schedule.
Keep the PM informed on all scheduling changes, and problems that could significantly impact scheduling or cost.
Review Project Documents for accuracy
Organize and manage day to day site activities with trade contractors to maintain a safe, organized project sequence, including scheduling of start dates and material deliveries.
Coordinate with local authorities regarding regulations and required inspections
Organize and chair weekly meetings with trade contractors to maintain schedule and proper project flow
Maintaining the schedule is the primary responsibility of the Superintendent.
Draft a three week “look ahead” schedule with trades and trades not yet on site ahead of all schedules submit to PM, account for any delays.
Coordinate in advance of all work items, work with the project PE to confirm supplies/materials will be delivered on time-confirm trade contractors will be on site as scheduled. Notify PM of any issues or potential delays
Order, schedule and coordinate delivery of Construction purchased materials and equipment purchased for a trade contractor’s work.
Ensure work is being completed on schedule to specifications and documents.
Maintain a clean, safe work site. Adhere to all safety regulations. This includes scheduling dumpsters, ensuring trade contractor daily cleanup and removal of unused items from site.
Provide punch list in writing to trade contractor in conjunction with PM or PE. Ensure punch list is complete.
Personally review all completed Punchlist items and sign off in conjunction with each trade
Secure all final inspections and certificates, forward originals (with stamps) to the main office
Secure site in the evenings on a daily basis.
Maintain professional communication with trade contractors, owners, architects, etc.

Qualifications:
7 year construction experience as a lead superintendent.
Technical skills: Proficient in the use of Outlook, Email, Sending Attachments, and scheduling programs such as Procore.
Possess and maintain a current Driver’s License within TX.
