COLONY BANK is Hiring an IT Support Specialist Near Fitzgerald, GA
Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for providing exceptional service and assistance to the Banks in the form of a centralized call system, for daily computer operation functions associated with processing and other core bank applications, and also for maintaining a variety of IT security functions.
Location - Remote in Fitzgerald, Savannah, or Statesboro
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Triage Service Desk tickets and calls, log tickets, and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Perform daily tasks required for bank processing.
- Install new equipment as needed including servers, PCs, printers and switches.
- Repair equipment as needed.
- Perform User Management on the network.
- Perform specification changes for multiple systems
- Maintain records and document processes, solutions, systems etc.
- Work as technical liaison between IT and other departments.
- Develop new processes and assist in projects.
- Provide on call support after hours and weekends as necessary.
- Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures including but not limited to policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Complete periodic training provided and/or required by Colony.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
1.A high school diploma or equivalent.
2.Technical Certificate in Information Technology
3.IT certifications desirable (A , Network MCP, MCDST)
Experience:
Minimum one year experience in Information Technology.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system
Knowledge of Google Apps or Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of Installing, Troubleshooting and Repair of Hardware
Knowledge of Installing, Troubleshooting and Repair of Software
Skills/Abilities:
High degree of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Effective problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, and high pressure environment
The ability to install Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server systems
The ability to install various Software applications and security patches
The ability to troubleshoot and repair PC hardware, replace disk drives, memory and boards.
Work Environment:
Requires regular office conditions.
Requires some travel.
