Summary

We’re searching for a laundry worker to join our team; shifts will be every other weekend from 11am-6pm. We currently offer a $3 Weekend Shift Differential to all of our employees. Additionally, we have flexible scheduling, PTO available for employees that work at least 25 hrs per week, and world-wide employee travel discounts!

Our laundry workers are responsible for cleaning and preparing the linen supplies for all guest hotel rooms and public spaces. They also provide exceptional customer service and responds promptly to guests’ questions, complaints and requests.

Responsibilities

• Separate laundry, inspect for stains and repair items.
• Place laundry into washing machine using proper chemical and temperature settings.
• Move laundry from washer to dryer using proper temperature settings.
• Finish and fold laundry to the department requirement.
• Inspect finished laundry to assure high quality standards.
• May deliver laundry to proper storage areas on multi-floors.
• Report all machine malfunctions to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain proper stock levels including cleaning supplies at all times in order to ensure proper amounts of laundry are available to start the next day.
• Clean dryer filters and washer drain filters daily.
• May be assigned to do additional duties such as vacuuming corridors, cleaning public spaces, cleaning guest rooms, washing windows, checking rooms, training other employees, etc.
• May be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Qualifications

• Capable of successful completion of online and hands-on training certifications.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift a maximum of 40 pounds and push a cart that is 75 pounds.
• Previous housekeeping, laundry, cleaning or hotel experience preferred.
