Role overview

The Operator/Inspector performs a number of essential regular duties including monitoring the machine’s performance, removing and inspecting the finished product, packing the envelopes into cartons for shipping and filling out corresponding paperwork.

Functions

• Feed cut paper into RA folding machines
• Inspect envelopes to ensure proper window placement, quality print, correct sizing, and effective glue application
• Handle boxes containing the product; put envelopes in boxes and place on skids (pallets)
• Complete various production reports and enter information into the computer terminal at the work station
• Clean the machine and the workplace area as required
• Respect the different production rules and procedures
• Perform all other related tasks

Requirements and skills

• Understand need for Health & Safety and being alert in manufacturing environment
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to read measuring devices
• Positive attitude
• Be able to work alone or in a team
• Demonstrate great autonomy and be resourceful

Shift

• Monday to Thursday 3:00 PM to midnight
• Friday 3:00PM to 7:00 PM
