Leavitt Partners is Hiring an Associate - LPCA Near LP, DC

Overview

Job Summary Leavitt Partners, LLC is seeking to hire a full-time Associate in our Washington D.C. office. This position is responsible for helping to support individual clients and health care coalitions through primary and secondary research, policy analysis, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a background in federal regulation, federal legislation, FDA, CMS, and/or public health. Leavitt Partners seeks high-caliber candidates who are adaptable, collaborative, professional, and who thrive in fast-paced environments. The company looks for individual qualities such as entrepreneurial spirit, self-efficacy, humility, and a strong desire to learn. This position is expected to work Mon-Fri, occasional weekend work from home may be required. 

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Assists client leads on complex client teams and may serve as project manager for client engagements.
  • Uses project management tools and client portals (as relevant) to effectively guide projects, manage intelligence, and maintain team accountability.
  • Researches legislative and regulatory sources and summarizes key findings for presentation to internal team and client(s).
  • Tracks and maintains an accurate record of client interactions and effectively communicates key decisions and work plan developments internally and externally.
  • Assists with scheduling client interactions
  • Ensures timely completion of high-quality client deliverables.
  • Effectively collaborates with client team members to accomplish client work plan milestones, and to meet client objectives.
  • Collaborates with the project team to execute productive client interactions.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Experience producing high-quality client deliverables
  • Experience in the health care industry
  • Experience in writing and research

  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Proven professional presentation and self-efficacy
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong personal integrity, patience, discretion, and maturity
  • Interest in federal regulation and legislation, FDA, CMS, and public health
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work products within tight deadlines
  • Ability communicate, verbally, and in writing
  • Enthusiasm and capability to quickly become proficient in new and complex topics
  • Interest in consensus-building
