Role Summary: Responsible for assuring the operational execution of Surgical Solutions’ strategic plan. The role directs, supervises, and coordinates the services and products offered by the company, in a manner that maximizes quality and profitability, including the management, operations, coordination, performance results and evaluation of all line functions and departments. Reports to the SVP of Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
•Contributes to the development and achievement of the company’s strategic goals and objectives as well as the overall management of the organization.
•Manages Account CRM (customer relationship management) for all hospital accounts in their region.
•Leads the company’s safety and service quality improvement efforts consistent with internal standards and relevant external standards (e.g., TJC, CMS, etc.)
•Creates, implements, and shares operating processes which drive efficiency and operational performance, and clinical compliance for field teams.
•Effectively manages P&L; analyze operating results of the organization and its principal components relative to established objectives and ensure that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. Submits regular reporting as required for account management as required by CEO, CFO.
•Works in partnership with the HR team on Company’s people operations – manage field teams' employee relations. Ensure proper staffing while balancing compensation expense.
•Establishes and implements site visit rotation cadence with each Jr. Account Manager. Designs and establishes reporting documentation of each site visits
•Asserts leadership in conjunction with Technology team in the company’s digital evolution, including the use of SCMP or similar platform, laptops, mobile devices, and other required technology applications. Partners with product management to outline enhancement requests from the field and external clients to evolve the digital experiences.
Qualifications:
• Education: A minimum of some college required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certifications: Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification required.
• Previous Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare, account management or related area
• Outstanding customer service skills: ability to build strong rapport with the hospital teams and fellow Surgical Solutions team members
• Demonstrated leadership skills; ability to effectively build teams and direct the work of others
• Ability to anticipate needs quickly and accurately, and appropriately respond
• Experience with Microsoft Suite; Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to travel 90% of the time to multiple site locations as needed
