We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team at Embassy Healthcare/Heritage Rehab. As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our HR department and ensuring that our organization has the necessary resources and support to achieve its goals. This is a position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates and conducting interviews
- Manage employee onboarding processes
- Develop and implement an in-house orientation program
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
- Oversee payroll/benefits administration and ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience as a Director of Human Resources or Recruiter
- Demonstrated experience in HR within long-term care
- Proficient in using HRIS systems for data management and reporting purposes
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
