Mathematics Teacher 24 - 25
The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full-time Mathematics Teacher to begin teaching in August of 2024. The preferred candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, an advanced degree, and the ability to teach the breadth of the high school mathematics curriculum.
Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and in addition to teaching Spanish, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or association and participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills.
Candidates should attach a cover letter, a resume, any letters of recommendation available, and a list of references to their application.
The Loomis Chaffee School is an independent, coeducational boarding/day school of 700 students and 170 faculty members, located in the historic town of Windsor, Connecticut. Chartered in 1874, the school provides an academically challenging curriculum within a supportive community that affirms individual beliefs and differences. Need-based financial aid is currently awarded to 33 percent of the student body.
