LUBRICANT/ FUEL SALES PROFESSIONAL Position Title: Lubricant / Fuel Sales Professional Reports to: Sales Manager Employment Status ☐ Temporary ☒ Full-Time ☐ Part-Time FLSA Status Effective Date☐ Non-Exempt ☒ Exempt Merle Boes, Inc. (MBI) is a family-owned company in the petroleum and convenience store industry. MBI is focused on being involved in our communities and providing excellent customer service. Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Bring in new revenue through new and existing clients
Maintain good customer rapport with effective consistent communication
Identify potential customers, their needs and pain points with their current suppliers
Prompt, effective, professional communication with customers and potential clients
Present services, prepare proposals, price negotiations, prepare contractual documents and close the sale with clients
Maintain detailed knowledge of MBI’s products and services
Track and monitor work and provide updates to sales manager
Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
Portray a positive attitude and great work habits at all times
Self-motivated; driven, dependable, presentable and punctual
Results and detail-oriented with the ability to function independently, yet work as a team member
Ability to establish and meet deadlines and quickly identify clear priorities
Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills
Credible, articulate, and confident
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-oriented and rewarding work environment
Possess vehicle insurance and a valid State Driver’s License in good standing
Must be sensitive to the customers’ needs and requirements
Preffered Experience
3 years sales experience in the petroleum / lubricant industry or 5 years related experience in sales
