Catalyst Construction is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Milwaukee, WI

Description

Summary: The Human Resource Manager is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implementation of Human Resources services including day-to-day management of benefit functions, recruitment, on-boarding, policy creation, HRIS data entry, reporting, and systems management. This position is a great opportunity for an up and coming leader in the Human Resource field. 

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Uphold the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
  • Assist employees with questions, concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Maintain HRIS database and Company employment records
  • Manage company benefit programs including health, life, disability, and retirement programs
  • Assist employees with benefit questions and claims including FMLA and disability
  • Oversee the administrative efforts for retirement programs, such as 401k and ESOP
  • Schedule and coordinate employee benefit education efforts
  • Conduct annual Open Enrollment for company benefits
  • Establish, administer, and report on HR policies
  • Implement and support company policies and procedures 
  • Assist managers with updating and maintaining competitive employee compensation programs
  • Manage company performance evaluations and employee career mapping
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for every department 
  • Coordinate, communicate, and conduct new hire orientation 
  • Conduct employee terminations and exit interviews
  • Collaborate with all company departments on various initiatives related to employees, operations, process and procedure, etc.
  • Oversee the training and development program for all levels of employees
  • Create and update job requirements and job descriptions for positions, as needed
  • Create personnel and compliance reports as needed, including EEO-1 and VETS100 reports
  • Ensure legal compliance and implementation of applicable HR Federal and State requirements
  • Manage external HR audit requests including DOL and ERISA
  • Act as the backup for payroll administration 
  • Attend meetings and trainings as assigned
  • Complete projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a business-related degree is required 
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred 
  • Previous experience with Paylocity is preferred, HRIS experience is required 
  • Reliable transportation 
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates high level of Emotional Intelligence when dealing with all levels of the company and clients 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details
  • Self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Regularly required to move, sit, and bend for various hours throughout the day
