Under the general guidance of the Asset Manager, the Residential Property Manager provides oversight of the day-to-day operations with a mix of strategic insight and hands-on leadership. This role goes beyond office management and is about creating a community that residents proudly call home.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* 2 years of leasing and property management experience
* Current knowledge of local, state, and federal housing and landlord-tenant laws
* Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
* Must be available after hours for residential and site emergencies.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
* Prior experience utilizing AppFolio or similar property management programs.
* Experience with low-income tax credit properties.
* Experience with landlord-tenant laws specifically applicable to the city of Seattle.
* LIHTC Certification Strongly preferred.
