Where would you step in?
You will serve as Technician primarily providing operation, maintenance, and testing services of wastewater treatment plants/systems and to provide technical support. You can sit in our Orleans or Sandwich, Massachusetts offices and work within our hybrid work model.

We assist clients from the initial conceptual stages of a project through schematic design, design development, permitting, construction documents, bidding, and construction oversight. What will you be doing as an Engineer Technician 3?
You will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed. You will follow and maintain procedures and protocols in operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities within customer, regulatory, permit, and contractual requirements. You will also identify operation and maintenance or safety problems within a given wastewater treatment system, conduct sampling and field analysis as required by local, state, and federal rules and regulations, adjust system components as needed for proper working order, and maintain safety and cleanliness of assigned facilities. You should expect to respond to alarms within one hour when on call, including nights and weekends, complete and submit required reports on a timely basis, complete and maintain site-specific operation and maintenance record logs and forms, and provide accurate recordkeeping per regulatory requirements. You should be proficient in Word, Excel and Adobe and conduct Title 5 inspections.

What do you need as an Engineer Technician 3?
You must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Operators License (minimum Grade 4) and be able to prioritize and work under required schedules. You also need to have and maintain a valid Massachusetts Title 5 inspector license and working knowledge of filing monthly DMR’s for groundwater discharge sites and annual reports. You should have a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle insurance check for ability to drive Tighe & Bond vehicles. You will need proficient mathematical skills and knowledge of local regulatory requirements are required.

Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors; the salary range for this position is typically $ $70,000 - $91,000.
