Job Summary:
Lead operational efficiencies and continuous improvement across all stores, enhancing performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
● Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement strategy aligned with the company’s objectives. Identify key areas for operational improvements across all banners and stores.
● Process Optimization: Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for cost reduction. Implement lean methodologies to streamline operations, improve customer service, and enhance the overall shopping experience.
● Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives. Use data-driven approaches to make informed decisions.
● Change Management: Lead change by working closely with store managers, department heads, and frontline employees. Ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies through effective communication and training programs.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., supply chain, sales, HR) to ensure continuous improvement efforts are cohesive and aligned with each department's goals.
● Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements that can further enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Foster an environment where innovation and out-of-the-box thinking are encouraged.
● Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of continuous improvement professionals. Promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering ,Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum of 7 years of experience in operational excellence/continuous improvement, preferably in the retail or grocery sector.
● Proven track record of implementing successful continuous improvement initiatives that have led to significant operational improvements.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
● Familiarity with time and motion studies, work sampling, and labor standards,
● Knowledge of workforce management systems and software
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Proficient in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of initiative and independence.
