The Leffell School is a cutting-edge K–12 Jewish independent school serving 830 students on two campuses in Westchester County, NY, 30 minutes north of New York City.
We are seeking an outstanding high school science teacher with experience teaching biology, chemistry, and/or physics to teach approximately two courses during the 2024-2025 school year.
The ideal candidate will:
Create dynamic lessons
Engage students in scientific discovery through hands-on, inquiry-based experiments
Utilize cutting-edge technology
Develop students’ twenty-first-century skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, use of technology, and written and oral presentation skills
A master’s degree in science and in secondary science education is preferred.

Pay Range: Prorated from full-time equivalent of $55-$85k
