The Senior Data Warehouse Developer supports organizational business intelligence through leading the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise data warehouse systems. Reports to the Director of Enterprise Data and Applications. 

• Develops, tests, implements, maintains, administers, and documents enterprise data warehouse systems

• Leads the design and estimation of data warehouse technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements

• Leads the development of UICA standards for enterprise data warehouse design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, administration, and documentation

• Works collaboratively with fellow developers, business systems analysts, project managers, customers, and other stakeholders on projects and operational work

• Works collaboratively with the Help Desk, vendors, and other IT staff to trouble-shoot and resolve issues with enterprise data warehouse systems

• Uses and recommends data warehouse technologies for technical solutions; stays current with data warehouse tools, design trends, best practices, and technology direction

• Develops plans for internal projects related to improving data warehouse systems and development processes and leads the implementation of approved plans 

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field and 7 years of relevant experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Extensive experience building and supporting data warehouses is required.
