The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD is Hiring a CCP Program Manager Near Houston, TX

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of disaster survivors? Do you have a knack for leading and inspiring teams? We are looking for a dynamic CCP Program Manager to take the helm of our Crisis Counseling Program in Harris County. In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight for crisis counseling services, ensuring compliance with data requirements and quality assurance standards. Your responsibilities will include recruiting and training team members, coordinating service delivery, and fostering relationships with state, county, and local partners.

Your Role in Action:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Recruit, train, supervise, and monitor the performance of all team members within the program area. Develop and coordinate the overall delivery of services to ensure high-quality crisis counseling.
  • Public Information: Coordinate the development and dissemination of local public information materials to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Community Collaboration: Develop collaborative relationships with local volunteer organizations, social services, governmental organizations, and caregivers to enhance service delivery.
  • Budget Management: Develop and monitor the budget for field operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Reporting: Write detailed reports on counseling and case management services, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Safety and Compliance: Know and comply with safety programs to contribute to a safe environment for individuals, staff, and visitors.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

  • Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent in Business, Human Services, or a related area.

Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in the field of mental health preferred.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.

Other Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas driver's license required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in crisis counseling techniques.
  • Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with disaster survivors and community resources.
  • Strong leadership and administrative skills.
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in word processing and Excel software.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
