As a ClaimAid Billing Solutions Specialist, you will serve as an expert who is able to help people who have recently incurred medical expenses. You will have the opportunity to help them understand their liability and provide options that meet the needs of both the customer and the medical service provider. This is a full-time position. Benefits for a Billing Solutions Specialist include:

Primary Functions of a Billing Solutions Specialist:

Make outgoing calls to collect outstanding medical bills
Take incoming calls from patients regarding their hospital account balances
Record detailed notes in the computer system during phone calls
Verify patient information and update demographic &/or insurance information, as needed
Establish payment plans based on hospital guidelines
Take payments over the phone by approved methods

Qualifications of a Billing Solutions Specialist include (but are not limited to):

Required: Excellent phone skills; basic math skills; organization skills
Required: Tact in communicating sensitive information, ability to maintain confidentiality, good interpersonal skills
Required: Demonstrate team behavior and willingness to promote a team-oriented environment
Valued: Experience following HIPAA regulations
Education: High school diploma required.
