Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time Pre-hung Door Casing Assembler .

WORK SCHEDULE

1st Shift

• Monday thru Friday, 6am-2 : 30pm, overtime offered as needed
• $22 / hr-1st Shift

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating Kval door machinery
• Operating nail gun and gluing
• Operating saws
• Reading and interpreting a tape measurer
• Managing orders to be completed in full and on time
• Using a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust where material is at
• Selecting material from shelves and preparing items for next steps
• Inspecting all material for quality
• Standing, walking, reaching, and lifting repeatedly throughout shift
• Having constant communication with upper management on progress with work orders
• Working together with a team of individuals to reach the common goal of 100% on time delivery to the customer
• Picking material using a stand / sit forklift (as needed)
• Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous material handler experience
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
• Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Ability to understand and follow written and / or verbal instructions; have legible penmanship, good communication skills (verbal and written) and be detail oriented
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
