Contingent upon contract award. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead multiple defense contracts focused on advancing U.S. Navy capabilities. This role is ideal for a former Senior Navy Enlisted or Mid to Senior Officer who is looking to leverage their military experience in a pivotal program management role. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The ideal candidate shall:
Lead the planning and implementation of a DoD contract
Manage cost, schedule, quality performance, and submit deliverables
Coordinate with Government customers, define project tasks and resource requirements
Support all aspects of recruiting, onboarding & staffing
Understand and enforce company policies, contract requirements and security protocols
Manage project budgets
Create & ensure on time contract deliverables using appropriate tools
Provide direction and support to a diverse team of professionals
Constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Support company business development activities

Requirements
Secret (Top Secret Eligibility Required)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Equivalent
Proven experience in project management within the U.S. Navy, ideally with familiarity with NSWC Crane operations and systems
Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
Proficiency in project management software tools
Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Advanced degree preferred
At least 15 years of project management experience in a defense or technology setting, with significant leadership responsibilities
Desired Qualifications:
Strong familiarity with Navy systems and requirements
Contract negotiation experience
Prior NSWC Leadership Role
Former Senior Navy Senior Enlisted or Mid to Senior Officer with direct experience in Navy Operations and Leadership
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard

Light to moderate lifting may be required
