Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate is an ambitious self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines are met, brand consistency is upheld, and high-quality work is produced all while enjoying conversations about dogs, true crime, and food.

Responsibilities

• Bring a fresh approach and new ideas to assist in the development of marketing strategies for programs and sponsorships.
• Work with marketing team to help copywrite, design, and edit digital and print material. Contribute to photography, design, and image selection that enhance the brand of Michigan First and its subsidiaries.
• Stay on top of member demographics, products and services, marketing technology trends, and the financial industry to effectively communicate with members and non-members alike.
• Assist with the management of collateral and promotional product inventory, work with vendors, and process invoices for payment.
• Engage the community through promotional content and charitable initiatives.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience working in marketing through internships or prior positions.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of the Michigan First team, as well as independently.
• Experience with website management, Adobe Creative Suite Programs, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and various social platforms.
• Background in photography, video production, graphic design, public relations, and social media is preferred but not required.
